Xerocon SF Recap

So, it’s been exactly one week since Xerocon ended and we are already waiting in anticipation for the next one! It was a fantastic three days in San Francisco learning the newest and latest in the accounting world–trust me, it’s more fun than it sounds.

(Festivities were in full swing on Pre-con Day)

It was a great opportunity to be able to meet app vendors and account representatives (i.e. Hubdoc, Gusto, and Practice Ignition) we normally interact with, putting a friendly face to a name. In addition, we got to meet and mingle with a lot of cool folks!

(Wished we got to drive this baby home!)

Xero brought out notable guest speakers such as Allen Blue (co-founder of LinkedIn), Mel Robbins and entrepreneur and former monk, Dandapani. Xero’s own marketing chief, Andy Lark, revealed exciting Xero features soon to be released next month.

We listened and learned…and of course we played just as hard! Xero and the app vendors definitely brought their A-game when it came to the happy hours and parties. We definitely had a blast with the Silent Disco after the Xero awards ceremony, busting out our sick moves on the dance floor. And…after the party is the arcade lobby. TSheets hosted the afterparty at an arcade bar–yep, you heard that right. Accountants and app reps celebrated by playing Whack-A-Mole and Skee ball.

(#avabeer with Natalie, Quinn and Avalara–how great is that hashtag btw)

You can definitely tell we had the time of our lives. Don’t experience FOMO (fear of missing out) on the next Xero event. Check out more photos on Xero’s Flickr album.

(Of course we had to go off with a bang! The SoCo Squad celebrating the end of Xerocon with a SF Giants game)
